We have attended your funday today with four children from the National Autistic Society, Radlett lodge school. The children had a great time with a wide range of well organised activities to do to keep them engaged.
However activities are only made fun and engaging by those people running them. I have to say all the volunteers were wonderful, friendly, engaging, patient and understanding.
The level of understanding was highlighted when a volunteer noticed that two of our children had thier fingers in their ears, immediatly they asked if we wanted the music turned down. My staff member was really impressed by this gesture of thoughtfulness and understanding.
Please pass on my thanks to all involved.
